Helping Hands

Helping Hands was an emergency disaster-relief initiative organized by the Leo Club of Colombo Waters Meet in response to the flooding caused by Cyclone Ditwah. The project provided essential supplies, including dry rations, drinking water, and hygiene items, to affected families in Wellapalliya, Palliyawatta through a local relief center. Through rapid coordination and community collaboration, the initiative delivered timely humanitarian support while strengthening leadership, teamwork, and disaster-response experience among participating members.
