SilverSight Initiative

The SilverSight Initiative was a holistic healthcare and welfare project organized by the Leo Club of Colombo Waters Meet to support the elderly residents of Sivan Illam Elders’ Home, Vavuniya. Conducted under the focus areas of Senior Citizen Development and Vision Care, the initiative included comprehensive eye screenings, the distribution of spectacles, and welfare support to improve the health, independence, and emotional wellbeing of beneficiaries. Through compassionate engagement and strategic collaboration, the project promoted dignity, inclusion, and improved quality of life for vulnerable elderly communities.
